A Whole Lot of Blessed

For several days after Christmas, we had all of our kids home.  We went to the park to take a few pictures.  Michael and I actually got in the pictures this year.

I don't know what I love the best:  cooking for all of them for several days, reminiscing over when they were all still living at home, the laughter, their clothes in the washer, hearing "momma" from more than three, hearing "Lollie" from two, having the kitchen tables pulled apart for games, or stepping over sleeping bodies in the floor every morning to start breakfast.

 Can't even find the words . . .

 Kyle, Jade, Eli and Journey

Kayla and Kevin

Hannah and Hugh

Leah and Rachel (!)

 Our boys.

I can't hardly stand it.  There is a whole lot of
"blessed" going on.

Your family is a psalms 128 Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in his ways. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours. Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your sons will be like olive shoots around your table. Thus is the man blessed who fears The Lord. I love your sweet family! Lynette west

Just sitting here in my church parking lot, waiting for the kids to get out of Rangers, and loving your blog! I love your blended family and your photos and the hope that just jumps of these pages...er, screen. I love that your life turned out well. I don't know the story, but there you are in a photo with kids and a hero husband-- God blessed you. This is just a really winderful, delightful blog and I love, love, love that saying at the top about tending a Vineyard with your hands. Beautiful.

And...your son (in-law?) Adam looks like a pastor, preacher, evangelist...I bet he all the time knocks people off their feet with the Word of God. Or he should. I don't know where that came from, but..there!

This comment is longer than most of my own blog posts. Just really having a good time reading this blog. Thanks.
