If the Lord is the Lord of Them

This family is very dear to me. Robbie and Paula were in Snyder back years ago when I was there. They were our youth ministers and dear friends. Paula and I enjoyed so many of the same things and I was blessed to be a part of the birth of her beautiful daughter Sarah. There was a popular song back then that said, "Friends are friends forever, if the Lord is the Lord of them". So true. Time doesn't change heart connections.

Hugh Emmert

Hugh and his brother Landon started coming to our church about three years ago. Neither one of them hardly ever said a word, but you could tell they were definitely taking things in. Hugh is such a respectful guy. He's an avid hunter and award-winning football player for the Ennis Lions. He knows more about critters than anyone I've ever met.

We love Hugh and are so grateful God brought their family to our church.
